Supreme Marketing

I just received the following unsolicited marketing email, aka spam, from a local HK company, on behalf of a famous international dining guide:

Bonjour,

Bien cordialement,

Js [quel joli ch’ti nom]

Which translates as:

Hello,

I have contacted you through Linkedin. [No my friend, you haven’t. Try and use the present form.]
I attach hereby a presentation of the Guide XXXXXX Hong Kong Macau 2011 along with the price list for advertising in the guide should be interested. [Hmmmmm, maybe not…]
Yours,

Js [That your name? Your nickname?]

Dude-san, if this is your marketing strategy, I think you need to reconsider your career path. I’z just sayin’.
